Sitting Still is a work in progress in which the minute movements of a still body control sound. It considers and explores the connection between a performer and instrument, and posits whether the anti-Cartesian idea of mind and body being one (or at least, interdependent) can extend to the performer/instrument paradigm.
In this test, an Adafruit MMA9451 accelerometer is processed in Max via an Arduino Micro, and controls a Eurorack synthesiser through an Expert Sleepers ES-3 ADAT to CV converter.
