Cliff-Edge was a series started by Ashcircle in late 2019, before the pandemic hit and Brexit seemed like the only major cliff-edge on the horizon. This followed our previous series, FUNERAL, at New River Studios. We wanted to create a space where we could bring together the amazing array of artists we were meeting in London, from the worlds of improv, electronics, noise, and performance art.
We had so many incredible performances that it’s impossible to include them all in this release. The recordings here are just a few examples to give you a taste of what went on in the basement. We’ve been on a break in 2024, but we’re planning to come back in 2025.
