I’m working with composer Colin Riley, working on materials for the live electronics component of his new work for bass clarinet.
Recorded in Dalston, London on June 18th 2016, as part of a field recording workshop with Peter Cusack.
The music department at Brunel University London are involved with a cool project, that I’m lucky enough to be helping out on. Colin Riley and Carl Faia are leading us in a collaborating with the Papworth Trust called Together We Can – a sonic garden that’s being presented at the Chelsea Flower Show next month, with Dame Evelyn Glennie joining us for a one-off performance at the show.
We’re using hydrophones, contact microphones, 10-channel sound, and Max/MSP to create a long-form installation. This weekend we’re off to Lincolnshire to test our work on a prototype of the garden. I’ll be filming it all, and sharing some video next week.
